The Memorials
In the vestibule of Glenmuick Church there are some more memorials.
- A plaque remembers the Rev John Middleton, minister of Glenmuick from 1849-1884.
- To the left is a bronze plaque in memory of Captain Gordon Rennie, Durham Light Infantry, who died in East Africa in 1916.
- On the wall of the vestibule is a plaque in memory of the Rev James Middleton who followed his father as minister from 1884-1928.
- On the right wall is a Roll of Honour naming men of Ballater Free Kirk who fell in World War I.
In the front of the Church stands the War Memorial, bearing the names of the men of the Parish who died in both wars. The architect was Norman A Dick of Glasgow architects, Burnet, Son & Dick. It was unveiled in 1922 and stands 55ft high.
